He was born in Mumbai, India on February 25, 1981. Shahid Kapoor is the son of well-known actress Neelima Azeem, who is a classical dancer as well as actress and his father Pankaj Kapoor. His parents divorced when Shahid was only 3 years old, he stayed with his Mom. He also was dating with Bollywood actress and co-star Kareena Kapoor.
